Telangana State Election Commission issues schedule for MPTC, ZPTC polling stations
Telangana SEC has released the schedule for MPTC and ZPTC elections. Draft electoral rolls and polling stations will be displayed on September 6, with claims and objections accepted till September 8. Final lists will be published on September 10
Hyderabad: The Telangana State Election Commission (SEC) has issued the schedule for the setting up and finalisation of polling stations for the upcoming elections to Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies (MPTCs) and Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituencies (ZPTCs). The MPTC/ZPTC-wise draft electoral rolls will be displayed on September 6.
According to the circular, the draft publication of polling stations at the mandal level will also be released by Mandal Parishad Development Officers (MPDOs) on September 6. Meetings with representatives of political parties will be held on September 8, at the district level by District Election Authorities and at the mandal level by MPDOs and Assistant District Election Authorities (ADEAs).
The Commission has set September 6 to 8 for receiving claims and objections on the draft list, which will be disposed of by September 9. The final publication of polling stations will be made on September 10.
Officials have been directed to complete the process in strict adherence to the schedule to ensure smooth conduct of elections to the MPTCs and ZPTCs.
