Hyderabad: The Telangana Medical Council, which conducted a series of inspections in Hyderabad, Medak, Sangareddy, Vikarabad and Hyderabad districts last month, has registered 15 cases against unqualified medical practitioners, under Sections 34, 54 of the NMC Act, Section 22 of the Telangana State Medical Practitioners Registration Act, and Sections 18 and 19 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), a press release said.

At Kondapur police station, an FIR has been registered against K. Bansilal and A Anil Kumar for operating first-aid centres at Malkapur cross roads.

At Patancheru police station, an FIR has been registered against B. Bhaskar for running Sri Sai First Aid Center, Isnapur X Road, Jeevan Reddy (Sri Shiva Sai Clinic), Paltu Baba (Nagamatha Clinic), Paul Mahendra, who was working as an allopathic doctor at Kakatiya Hospital and G. Venkataswamy (BAMS), for running Sri Lakshmi Polyclinic.

At Sadasivpet police station, an FIR was registered against P Hitendra Iren (BHMS) for falsely working as an allopathic doctor at Sri Sai Ram Hospital.

At Munipalli Police Station (Sangareddy), an FIR was registered against Ravindra Siddappa Shaid for operating a clinic at Budera X Road.

At Sangareddy Town Police Station, an FIR has been registered against R. Prabhakar (BAMS qualified) for operating Sushruta Clinic, Shivaji Nagar and Ayesha Begum (BUMS doctor), for running Alshifa Clinic at Makhdoom Nagar near Shanti Nagar.

At Marpalli Police Station (Vikarabad), an FIR was registered against N. Kumar who was allegedly operating a clinic at Patlur Village, Marpalli.

At Sangareddy Rural Police Station, an FIR was registered against Lokesh (BAMS) for operating Life Polyclinic near Bypass Road.

At Hathnoora Police Station (Sangareddy), an FIR was registered against S. Sravya (Pharm.D qualified), for allegedly running Sri Ram Hospital and practicing allopathic medicine while at Narsapur Police Station (Medak), an FIR was registered against K. Sai Kiran (BHMS qualified), who was working as an allopathic doctor at KAK Hospital, Narsapur.
