Telangana SWRDC physical director bags award
Under Dr. Laxman's tenure as TGSWREIS sports officer, the society students won one gold medal, three bronze, along with 34 participations, at the international level
Hyderabad: Dr. Rama Laxman, Physical Director at Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women (TSWRDC), Mahendra Hills, has been presented with the International Sports Leadership 2025 award at the prestigious ‘International Conference on Physical Education and Sports 2025′, recently organised by IFCSS at Vasavi Engineering College here. He was presented the award in recognition of his services to the field of sports.
Under his tenure as TGSWREIS sports officer, the society students won one gold medal, three bronze, along with 34 participations, at the international level. Similarly, 279 gold, 130 silver and 196 bronze medals were bagged by students at the national-level and numerous medals at State-level under the guidance of Dr. Laxman.
Earlier, he received awards, including, Bharath Jyothi Award (2017) State Best Physical Director (2019), and Orange World Record Award (2024).
