Telangana: Term of MLC M Srinivas Reddy ends

Hyderabad: MLC M Srinivas Reddy was given a warm farewell by his colleagues in the Telangana State Legislative Council after his term came to an end on Wednesday.

Government Whips Bhanuprasad Rao, Damodar Reddy and MS Prabhakar along with MLCs Gangadhar Goud, Farooq Hussain, Telangana State Legislature Secretary V Narasimha Acharyulu, TRS Legislative Party secretary Ramesh Reddy and others were also present.

Srinivas Reddy, a native of Momnoor in erstwhile Warangal district, was nominated to the MLC seat in June 2015. He completed his PhD in Veterinary and served as a professor in government veterinary colleges in the State.

He has also worked as the vice-chairman of Veterinary Council of India, before plunging into the Telangana movement and serving in TRS party since its inception. He continues to serve as the general secretary of the party.
