Hyderabad: The State Government has declared holidays for three days on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for Assembly and Council in the wake of heavy rains in the State, sources said.
The Assembly and the Council are currently in session, but the holiday was declared in view of the heavy rains battering the State.
The Government had earlier declared a holiday for schools and educational institutions and government offices on Tuesday, but a three-day holiday was declared for the State Assembly and legislative council, sources added.
The Government has also issued GOMs 2191 declaring holiday for schools and educational institutions on Monday evening.
