Telangana to hold special voter enrolment camps on October 15, 16

Telangana will hold special voter enrolment camps at every polling station on October 15 and 16. Eligible citizens omitted from the draft electoral roll and first-time voters can submit Form 6 applications ahead of the final roll’s publication on November 9

Hyderabad: The Telangana Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) will organise special camps at every polling station on October 15 and 16 to ensure that all eligible electors are included in the electoral roll.

People whose names were omitted from the draft electoral roll, as well as first-time and young voters, can visit their designated polling stations and submit applications in Form 6 to enrol in the final electoral roll, scheduled to be published on November 9.

Booth-level officers (BLOs), along with booth-level agents (BLAs), will assist applicants in filling out the forms.

Telangana Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudharsan Reddy has directed the Hyderabad District Election Officer (DEO) and all district collectors to organise the camps on the specified dates. He asked them to ensure that every eligible citizen is made aware of the opportunity to enrol in the electoral roll.
