Speaking on the occasion, Jagadish Reddy lauded the efforts of the two newspapers in bringing a mega auto show to Nalgonda town. He said with the economic levels of the people rising, automobiles have become affordable for all, after the formation of a separate Telangana State.

He recalled that the State, which earlier produced about 40 lakh metric tonnes of grains, now occupies the top position in the country in grain production with three lakh acres under cultivation.

The transport sector also boomed due to the revival of the rural economy due to people friendly policies of the former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and the road network registered a tremendous improvement during BRS rule. With the economic conditions of people rising, they were buying new vehicles, Jagadish Reddy observed.

The General Manager of Telangana Publications, N Surendar Rao said Namasthe Telangana and Telangana Today are organising auto shows in all the districts. He urged people to make use of the opportunity to buy vehicles with attractive discounts and loan facilities being offered by different banks.

He said bank officials are also available for consultation in the auto show. Nalgonda bureau incharge of Namasthe Telangana, who spoke on the occasion said the auto show brings the different vehicle sellers, bank officials on the same platform, obviating the need for people to visit different showrooms at different places.

Among those who graced the occasion were former legislator Kancharla Bhupal Reddy, district library association former chairman R Mallikharjun Reddy and others.

Sri Venkataramana Jewellers owner L Srinivas and Vinayaka Dry Fruits owner M Raghu are sponsoring gifts for the lucky dip winners for those who attend the auto show.

The automobile companies participating in the auto show are: Pavan Motors, Pavan Motors Nexa, Arena, Harsha Toyota, Pride Motors, KIA, Pride Honda, Sansui Hyundai, Kasa Suzuki, Venatarama motors Royal Enfield, TVS LV Motors, Ather VT Automotives, SBI, Pochampally Bank, union Bank and Nalgonda District Cooperative Bank.
