Hyderabad: A seminar titled ‘Civil Services – the G.O.A.T Career for a Fresh Graduate,’ hosted by ‘Telangana Today’ and ‘Namasthe Telangana’ in collaboration with Reflections IAS Academy at KG Reddy College of Engineering and Technology on Friday was an enriching experience for students aspiring to pursue a career in civil services.
Guest speaker, Dr.G.Vivekananda, Assistant Director at the Ministry of Defence, shared insights into the UPSC journey and encouraged students to identify challenges in every sphere of life, offering solutions to these challenges from their perspectives.
Responding to a query made by P.Keerthana, a final-year student, Dr. Vivekananda advised students to mould themselves to learn consistently, understand the demand for optional subjects, and stressed that having a mentor is essential for success in the civil services examination.
Ramana Muppala, Founder and Director of Reflections IAS Academy, emphasised that civil services is one of the best career choices for any graduate and explained civil services provide legitimate authority to serve society and offer a prestigious social status.
He added that aspirants, by choosing civil services, become well-versed in a wide range of subjects and are well-prepared to crack any state public service commission or national exams.
Dr.Narsaiah, Vice Principal of the institution, encouraged students to leverage such seminars for their growth, while Daniel Prabhakar, Dean of Training and Placements, extended his gratitude to Telangana Publications for organizing such impactful seminar.
