Telangana: Two elderly persons arrested for sharing child porn clips in Mancherial

Two men in Mandamarri were arrested for posting child porn videos on Instagram and Facebook. Acting on an NCMEC tip-off, Telangana Cyber Security Wing booked them and warned of strict action against sharing obscene content online

Mancherial: Two persons were arrested on charges of sharing porn clips relating to children on social media platforms in Mandamarri on Tuesday.

Police said that the two persons aged over 50 were apprehended for sharing porn clips of children on their handles on Instagram and Facebook. The police booked a case against the two based on a complaint received from Telangana Cyber Security wing, following a tip-off by National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children, New Delhi.

The police warned that stern action would be initiated against those who watch or share or forward obscene videos on the internet. They sought cooperation from users of social media platforms to ensure the security of the children.
