Telangana: Two farmers electrocuted in Nagarkurnool district
The farmers Katravath Lukya and Mudavath Kumar had gone to their fields on Wednesday to irrigate the crop. Apparently, they got into the well as the electric pump was not working and were trying to repair it when they were electrocuted
Achampet: Two farmers were electrocuted when they were attempting to repair an electric pump in Chedurubavi Thanda on Wednesday evening. Their family members noticed the bodies floating in the well, after they launched a search, Nagarkurnool police said.
The farmers Katravath Lukya and Mudavath Kumar had gone to their fields on Wednesday to irrigate the crop. Apparently, they got into the well as the electric pump was not working and were trying to repair it when they were electrocuted.
As the duo did not return home, their family members launched a search and later found the bodies floating in the well, Police have registered a case and investigation is in progress.
