Telangana: Two inter-district agriculture pump sets thieves arrested in Peddapalli

Around 39 agriculture motors, 750 meter service wire, autorickshaw trolley and mobile phones recovered from them

Peddapalli: Potkapalli police arrested two inter-district agricultural pump sets thieves and recovered 39 motors from them.

Producing the accused before media persons at Potkapalli police station on Saturday, Peddapalli DCP Pulla Karunakar explained the modus operandi of thieves. Sirigiri Prasad and Angidi Saikumar of Odela were arrested for stealing agricultural motors.

While conducting vehicle checking near Shanagonda on the outskirts of Jammikunta on Saturday morning, police found two persons moving in an autorickshaw trolley under suspicious circumstances.

On checking the vehicle, cops found agriculture pump sets, electricity service wire and other material. On questioning, Prasad and Saikumar confessed to the crime of stealing motors.

In order to earn money in an easy way, the duo started stealing agriculture motors arranged at wells, rivulets and tanks. They committed crime in Peddapalli and Sultanabad circles limits during the last two months.
