Telangana: Two nursing students dead after being hit by van at bus stop
Victims were waiting at the bus stop to reach their hostel at the time of the incident; condition of the two injured persons said to be critical
JOGULAMBA GADWAL: Two nursing students died on the spot and a few others sustained injured after a Bolero van hit them while they were standing at a bus stop near New Housing Board in the town on Tuesday evening.
The two were identified as Maheswari, a native of Makthal, and Manisha Sri, a resident of Wanaparthy.
The incident occurred when the students were waiting at the bus stop to reach their hostel. Suddenly a Bolero van rammed into the bus stop and killed the two students apart from causing grievous injuries to two others. The condition of the two injured is said to be critical.
Soon after the incident, the van driver fled the spot, according to reports.
