Unidentified miscreants attempted to rob the Central Bank of India branch at Veludurthi, Medak, by breaking through a wall. They fled after the alarm was triggered. Police are investigating and analysing CCTV footage to trace the culprits.

Medak: Unidentified miscreants made a failed attempt to rob the Central Bank of India branch at Veludurthi mandal headquarters on Sunday night.

The miscreants broke through a wall of the bank and removed the locks of the store room. However, as they entered the locker room, the bank’s automatic alarm system was triggered, prompting them to flee the scene.

Alert locals immediately informed the police, but the suspects managed to escape before the police arrived.

A case has been registered and an investigation is underway. Police are examining CCTV footage from the mandal headquarters to identify and trace the gang.
