Telangana wins junior titles at South Zone badminton championship
Telangana won the junior boys’ and girls’ titles at the South Zone Inter-State Badminton Championship, with Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala also securing top spots in various categories
Hyderabad: Telangana clinched a ‘double’ by winning both the junior boys’ and girls’ titles at the South Zone Inter-State Badminton Championship here on Wednesday.
Andhra Pradesh finished as runners-up in the senior women’s category and secured third place in the men’s section.
Karnataka won the senior women’s title, along with finishing as runner-up in the junior boys’ and senior men’s categories, and claimed third place in the junior girls’ section.
Tamil Nadu secured the senior men’s title, while Kerala finished third in both the junior boys’ and girls’ sections.
