Kothagudem: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials have reportedly taken a woman into custody in connection with alleged irregularities involving job offers at Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL).

The ACB launched an investigation into fraudulent practices related to the medical invalidation of employees for dependent job appointments, as well as irregularities in transfer processes and recruitment scams involving private individuals.

As part of the probe, K Chaitanya, a resident of Rudrampur in Chunchupalli mandal, was detained for questioning. It may be recalled that on May 6, the ACB arrested an SCCL driver, A Rajeshwar Rao, for allegedly collecting money from employees seeking transfers and dependent jobs through medical invalidation.
