The Minister questioned Andhra Pradesh’s claim that it would utilise only water that flows into the sea. Stating that Telangana had been making all possible efforts to block the project and had already sent letters to the Godavari River Management Board and Union Minister C.R. Patil. Telangana officials had directly communicated their objections to the Centre, he added.

“We have informed the Centre about our concerns and urged it to take action against the project. We will respond appropriately at the right time,” Reddy stated.
