Sangareddy: Woxsen University marked a significant milestone in its cutting-edge research and industry collaboration with the inauguration of the Aegis-AI Centre for AI-Enabled Global Infrastructure Security.
Chief Guest Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary for Industries & Commerce, inaugurated the facility on the premises of campus at Kamkole in Sangareddy.
The Centre of Excellence, a pioneering initiative co-driven by leading industry companies and academia, is conceived as a collaborative hub, and will drive innovation in AI-powered cybersecurity, ethical hacking, and threat detection, with tailored solutions for government, industry, and civil infrastructure sectors.
In his address at the ceremony, Jayesh Ranjan launched the university’s ambitious initiative and underlined the importance of public-private partnerships in tackling modern cybersecurity challenges. “The Aegis-AI Centre exemplifies how academia and industry can come together to build resilient, intelligent systems crucial for safeguarding our infrastructure in an increasingly digital world,” he remarked.
