Hyderabad: A youngster who robbed a man after befriending him on ‘Grindr’, the popular free dating app for LGBTQ Community members, was arrested by the Filmnnagar police.
The man Farhan Baig,( 25) a resident of Dabeerpura, created an account on the dating app and lured a 22-year-old man to a house at Filmnagar last week.
When the victim arrived, Farhan threatened and forced the man to transfer Rs 10000 to his e-wallet.
The victim left the place after paying the amount and later approached the police. A case was registered and Farhan was arrested and remanded.
