A 29-year-old car driver, Kunasani Vasu, was arrested by Filmnagar police in Hyderabad for allegedly murdering two women and stealing their gold jewellery.
A constable driver at Mehdipatnam police station, Shravan Kumar, was arrested for stealing a mobile phone worth Rs 1.75 lakh that had been recovered from a thief. The theft came to light when the phone’s owner arrived to collect it, only to find it missing.

Inamul Hussain (30), a resident of Rajasthan, contacted Abdullah Ibrahim, a businessman from Filmnagar, over the phone. He claimed to have eight kilograms of gold and expressed his intention to sell it in bulk for Rs 6 crore, citing personal issues as the reason.
Acting on information, the Hyderabad Narcotics Enforcement Wing (HNEW) along with Filmnagar police caught Okaro Cosmos Ramsey alias Andy, (38) a resident of Shaikpet and native of Nigeria.
