Pochera waterfall, deepest of all the waterfalls in Telangana, is flowing in full glory, thanks to heavy rains in the State.
The place is in full flow, presenting a sight to behold. It has now turned into a popular tourist destination.
The fall stands at a height of around 20 meters and flows down with a gushing force. The bed, which is entirely made from the purest form of granite, is much deeper with a capacity to hold a large quantity of water.
The holy river Godavari which flows through Sahyadri mountain range breaks into small streams which meet at a point and become the main source for the Pochera falls.
The verdant and dense green forest around the waterfall makes it a natural habitat for bird species, reptiles, and many insects and serves as a nice adventurous location.
The location is completely secluded and surrounded by a scenic environment. The waterfall is 256 km away from Hyderabad. There are two routes to reach Pochera Falls – the first is via Nirmal that is around 36 km from the falls, and the second route is via Adilabad that is around 55 km away.
