Telugu student dies in US after falling into frozen lake

Hyderabad: A 26-year-old Telugu student, identified as Abhishek Sighakolli , from Tenali in Andhra Pradesh lost his life on Sunday after falling through ice on a partially frozen lake in northern Arizona in the United States.
The Telugu student was one of three individuals who fell through the ice at Woods Canyon Lake. While two of them managed to escape the frigid water, Abhishek remained missing.
According to reports, the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office recovered Abhishek’s body on December 23.
His friends stated that he came to the United States to pursue higher education at Arizona State University. However, university officials stated that they could not find a student record under his name.
This devastating incident has left his friends and family mourning the loss.
