An Indian IT professional, Venkatesh Doppalapudi (33), was killed after his vehicle was swept away by flash floods in Kansas, US. Despite intensive rescue efforts, his body was recovered a day later. The Indian Consulate in Houston is assisting with legal formalities and repatriation.
