Hyderabad: City-based software company Temenos donated Covid medical supplies worth Rs 10 lakh to Sircilla Government Hospital on Thursday. The supplies were handed over to District Collector D Krishna Bhaskar.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhaskar said any constructive help to Sircilla would always be welcomed and he thanked Temenos management for donating the Covid medical supplies.
Temenos Senior Director Sethuraj Rajaram said the medical supplies include N95 Masks (5,000), triple layer masks (5,000), Nitrile Gloves (5,000), 600 large adult diapers, 1,000 PPE kits and others.
The donation was coordinated by Telangana Facilities Management Council (TFMC), which plans to extend support to more government hospitals in rural areas, besides adopting a few villages in Sircilla district. The company representatives said they had chosen Sircilla Government Hospital as there was requirement for the materials at the hospital. More so, hospitals in urban cities have better access to the Covid medical supplies than those in rural areas, they added.
TFMC president Satyanarayana Mathala, Sircilla District Medical & Health Officer Dr. Meenakshi and others were present on the occasion.
