Hyderabad: As Hyderabad witnesses a hot and dry August, the temperatures have soared across the city.
On Saturday, the maximum temperature recorded in the city was 30 degree Celsius while few areas in Patancheru received very light drizzle.
According to Telangana State Development Planning Society, the city might witness light thundershowers at isolated places for the next two to three days. The maximum temperature in the city during the period is expected to be in the range of 29 degree Celsius to 31 degree Celsius, while the minimum temperature will be in the range of 21 degree Celsius to 23 degree Celsius. Meanwhile, few districts of Telangana are experiencing moderate to heavy downpours.
Districts including Narayanpet, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Medak, Nizamabad, Rangareddy, Sangareddy and Nalgonda received rainfall upto 65 mm while Bhongir in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri received the highest rainfall of 67 mm on Sunday.
