Adilabad: Ten persons were arrested for their alleged involvement in gambling at Thirpelli here on Friday.

Police seized Rs 79,500 in cash and 10 mobile phones from them.

CCS Inspector P Chandrashekhar said Mahender, Rajesh, Anil, Sandeep, Shankar, Vinod Reddy, Ravinder, Ramesh, Laxmanna and Jithender were apprehended while committing the offence in a house, following a tip-off.

They were handed over to the Adilabad I town police for further action.
