Khammam: As many as 10 sudents of Swarna Bharathi Institute of Science and Technology (SBIT), Khammam have secured jobs in CMMi Level 5 certified company Capgemini. Both B Tech and MBA students of the college secured jobs in a recent campus placement drive, informed the institute Chairman Gundala Krishna in a statement here Sunday.
The institute has continuously been striving to fulfill the aspirations of students and their parents in terms of a proper career launch. The institute’s faculty and placement department imparts quality training to the students to boost their career prospects and the students also proving their mettle by excelling in studies as well as in campus placements, he noted.
The SBIT’s Secretary and Correspondent, G Dhatri explained that the college placement department has been making efforts to sharpen the creative and communication skills of the students. Thus the students were able to perform well in job interviews.
This year around 29 students secured jobs in TCS, 42 in Wipro, 45 in Capgemini, seven in Virtusa, 21 in Infosys and many others in companies like Mindtree, Hexaware Technologies, IBM and Deloitte. In all 151 students secured jobs in campus placements, informed the SBIT principal Dr. G Raj Kumar.
Academic Directors C Srinivasa Sharma, AVV Siva Prasad, G Subhash Chander, G Preveen Kumar and Training and Placement Officer N Savitha congratulated the students who secured jobs.
