Adilabad: Mild tension prevailed when a section of audience in a theatre thrashed two persons for raising pro-Pakistan slogans at the screening of the much debated ‘The Kashmir Files’ here on Friday.
Superintendent of Police D Uday Kumar said that the two, who were in an inebriated condition, raised pro-Pakistani slogans resulting in the tension. The situation was, however, brought under control, he stated.
The Superintendent said that no one had lodged a complaint so far. It is learned that the two were beaten up by some people in the audience who were watching the movie for raising the slogans. They fled from the theatre following the incident. The identities of the persons involved in the thrashing have not been established yet.
