TG EAPCET 2025 set to commence; Over 28,000 candidates expected to attend first session of test

Hyderabad: The Telangana Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (TG EAPCET) 2025 is set to commence on Tuesday with a total of 28,870 candidates expected to take the AP stream in the first session of the test, which will be in 112 centres across the State.
The JNTU-Hyderabad has made elaborate arrangements for holding the AP examination, which will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon, and 3 pm to 6 pm, on April 29 and 30. Over, 86,000 candidates registered for the AP stream.
Candidates have been asked to reach the centres well in advance and they will not be allowed into centres even if they are late by a minute.
As per rules issued by the University, candidates must take the exam only in the centre allocated to them. The University will not entertain any change of centre or the exam slot.
Candidates have to carry the hall ticket, blue or black ball point pen, filled in an online application form with passport size photo affixed and left hand thumb impression, and attested copy of caste certificate. All electronic gadgets have been barred from carrying into the examination hall.
This year, the University introduced QR code on the hall tickets. Once the code is scanned with a smartphone, a link opens in the Google Maps application that enables students to view their route map to their exam centres.
In addition, they can ascertain how far is their centre and even the estimated time it will take to reach the venue, considering traffic.
After the AP stream test, the University will hold an entrance test for over 2.20 lakh undergraduate engineering aspirants from May 2 to 4.
