TG RERA imposes Rs 5 lakh penalty against two Hyderabad-based builders for submitting false information
TGRERA fined Suvarnabhoomi Infra Developers and Maha Infra and Developers ₹5.97 lakh for submitting false information and directed them to complete the Suvarna Sampada-2 project within 60 days. Complainants alleged delays, negligence, and misuse of the site as a dumping yard.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TGRERA) on July, 25 directed the Hyderabad-based builder, Suvarnabhoomi Infra Developers & Maha Infra and Developers to pay a penalty of Rs. 5,97,237 jointly, for submitting false information.
The developers were also directed to complete development along with the promised infrastructure and handed over possession within 60 days.
Complainants, B.Suresh Goud, S. Lakshmi Chowdhary, V. Dushyanth Reddy, Kukunuru Somi Reddy, Chitti Ramesh Kumar and Chitti Ratnakar had approached the RERA against these two builders stating they failed to complete the project ‘Suvarna Sampada-2’. Both builders were supposed to complete this project within three years of receiving (30 June 2021) HMDA registration, but it lapsed. Even, six years are over, the respondents were not finished.
They also complained the neighborhood villagers were using this layout as a dumping yard due to the negligence of the builders, and using a passageway too.
TG RERA Chairman, N Satyanarayana, directed the builders to pay the penalty of Rs 5,97,237 for submitting false information and directed to complete the development along with the promised infrastructure and hand over the possession within 60 days from the date of the order.
