Hyderabad: The Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TGANB) jointly with the local police arrested 5,205 suspects in 2,169 NDPS cases, resulting in the seizure of contraband drugs worth Rs.148.09 crore during the year 2024.

As a supportive measure, TGANB is also sponsoring the provision of high-precision weighing machines to investigation units across the State, including the Task Force, SOT, H-NEW, Clues Teams, and Railway Police. These machines will assist officers determining the seizure quantity. They ensure accurate documentation and forensic sampling and maintaining the integrity of the case.
