TGCSB arrests six for supplying bank accounts to cyber fraudsters

The Telangana Cyber Security Bureau arrested six persons for providing bank accounts to cyber fraudsters. Police said the accused also helped in transferring money obtained through cyber crimes. All the accused are from Kerala and Bengaluru.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) arrested six persons who were providing bank accounts to cyber fraudsters, which were later used in various cyber frauds.

The arrested are Renju Pathakku Reji (30), a resident of Kerala, Arun Sreenivas (41) of Kerala, Sanal V Menon (48) of Kerala, V Jayaprakash (43) of Bengaluru, Balaraju S (51) of Bengaluru and Harish G (55) of Bengaluru.


According to the police, the six persons had provided their bank accounts to fraudsters and had also helped them in transferring the proceeds of cyber crimes.
