Hyderabad: The Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) has asked cybercrime victims to claim refunds only through the Money Restoration Module (MRM) on the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal after receiving SMS notifications from the Ministry of Home Affairs about earmarked refunds.
Officials said victims must log in with the mobile number linked to their complaint, complete OTP verification, verify their details and submit the refund request online.
They warned the citizens not to share OTPs, passwords or bank details with anyone claiming to speed up the process, stressing that no fee is charged for refund requests.
The TGCSB said citizens requiring assistance can contact its help desk or approach the investigating officer handling their cybercrime complaint.
