TGHRC seeks report from Chief Secretary on deaths in stray dog attacks
The TGHRC has directed the Chief Secretary to submit the report by August 29.

Medak: The Telangana State Human Rights Commission (TGHRC) has sought a detailed report from the Chief Secretary on deaths caused by stray dog attacks across the State, taking suo motu cognisance of media reports following the death of a three-year-old boy.
The boy, Nithin, was mauled to death by stray dogs at Rupla Thanda in Shivvampet mandal on Friday. Reacting to widespread coverage in newspapers, the Commission initiated the action on its own and asked the State government to account for all such deaths reported since 2020.
The TGHRC has directed the Chief Secretary to submit the report by August 29.
