TGIIC’s Raidurg e-auction sets record with Rs 237 crore per acre bid

Hyderabad: Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation’s (TGIIC) e-auction of a plot at Knowledge City, Raidurg on Thursday bid a record price of Rs 237 per acre. The marquee e-auction commanded an exceptional price of approximately Rs 237 crore per acre, marking a substantial 70.5 percent surge above the reserve price of Rs 139 crore per acre. It set a new record for the region, officials said.
The TGIIC stated that e-auction for plot no. 1A &1/F, a prime 6.29-acre multi-use land parcel, was conducted on Thursday. The high-profile auction witnessed extraordinary participation and intense competitive bidding from leading national developers, culminating in a staggering overall transaction value of nearly Rs 1,490.73 crore, the TGIIC announced.
This bid surpassed the previous benchmark from TGIIC’s 2025 auction, where prime land reached Rs 177 crore per acre. The auction was conducted through MSTC e-Auction platform, ensuring a transparent, robust, and highly competitive digital bidding process. JLL acted as exclusive transaction advisor for the landmark transaction.
TGIIC VC & MD K Shashanka said, “Achieving a historic price discovery of approximately Rs 237 crore per acre for this marquee multi-use land parcel marks a defining moment in the State’s growth journey and demonstrates the immense strength of Telangana’s investment ecosystem.”
Another e-auction for plot no P4 spanning 5.09 acres in the same area is scheduled on June 1.
