Hyderabad: The Telangana Pollution Control Board (TGPCB) has launched its exhibition stall at the All India Industrial Exhibition (Numaish) to create awareness among the public about various forms of pollution and the measures required to prevent and control them.

The TGPCB stall highlights environmental issues such as municipal solid waste management, industrial emissions, water pollution from industries, and noise pollution to educate visitors on the causes, impact, and regulatory measures related to different types of pollution.

On the occasion, PCB officials delivered presentations at the stall premises, explaining the role of industries, institutions, and citizens in protecting the environment. They also interacted with visitors, addressing their queries and providing guidance on environmental laws and best practices for pollution control.

The exhibition stall has received a positive response from visitors, students, and industry representatives, contributing to greater awareness about pollution prevention and sustainable development.

The TGPCB officials explained the adverse environmental impacts of single-use plastics, soil and water contamination, harm to wildlife, blockage of drains, and long-term ecological damage.
