Hyderabad: The Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TGRERA) has extended the validity of registration and corresponding completion of registered real estate projects by four months due to the ongoing situation in West Asia.

Orders to this effect were issued on Friday.

Accordingly, the projects whose completion date, revised completion date or extended completion date falls between February 28 and July 31, have now been extended to November 30, 2026. There is no requirement for submission of separate individual applications or the payment of any fees for the extension, the orders said.

TGRERA took this decision following instructions from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs to grant extension of registration and corresponding timelines of projects for a period of four months, treating the West Asia situation as a “war” for the purpose of invoking the Force Majeure clause.
