TG’s Rishitha wins ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors-J60 Girls singles title held in Guwahati

Hyderabad: Telangana tennis player Rishitha Reddy Basireddy won the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors – J60 Girls singles title in Guwahati on Saturday.

The 16-year-old continued her red-hot form, defeating the USA’s Priyanka Rana 7-5, 6-4 to clinch the trophy. Rishitha, who trains at Hyderabad’s Lakeview Tennis Academy under the guidance of Vasudeva Reddy and Narendranath, holds a rank of 252 in the International Junior category (ITF) and is ranked No. 2 in India.
