TGSRTC withdraws summer discount, regular bus fares back from June 1
The TGSRTC has ended its special summer discount scheme in Greater Hyderabad, effective May 31. From June 1, regular fares for Metro Deluxe and AC bus services will resume.
Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has announced the conclusion of its special summer discount scheme offered within Greater Hyderabad limits.
With the three-month concession period ending on May 31, regular ticket fares for Metro Deluxe and AC bus services will be restored from June 1.
The corporation clarified that there has been no fare hike.
Officials further said that only the temporary summer discount introduced between March and May is being withdrawn, and the pre-discount fare structure will come back into effect.
The seasonal offer was launched to make comfortable AC travel more affordable during the peak summer months.
