TGSWREIS staff seek extension of finance additional secretary’s tenure

Hyderabad: The Telangana Social Welfare Residential Teachers and Employees Association on Thursday urged the State government to extend the tenure of Dr N Kiranmayi, currently serving as additional secretary (finance) in the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGSWREIS).
In a statement, Association president Ch Bala Raju and general secretary N Dayakar highlighted Dr Kiranmayi’s 32 years of service, including her earlier role as additional registrar in the Telangana State Cooperation Department.
Since her appointment at TGSWREIS in August 2024, the officer has implemented critical financial reforms, including clearing long-pending bills for students’ welfare, resolving 175 pension cases, and streamlining salary disbursement and increment approvals, they said.
