Hyderabad: Welcoming the State government’s decision to withdraw cases registered against the students of the University of Hyderabad, BRS working president KT Rama Rao demanded that the Congress government roll back its plans to auction 400 acres at Kancha Gachibowli.
“There is a much bigger scam behind the Kancha Gachibowli land controversy. A BJP MP is also involved, and I will expose all the scams in a couple of days,” Rama Rao said in an informal chat with the media here on Tuesday.
The BRS working president also demanded that the Congress government initiate stern action against those responsible for the destruction of rich biodiversity in the lands.
“All those responsible for the deaths of deer and dislocation of animals should be punished severely,” Rama Rao demanded, recalling that Bollywood actors were punished for hunting Blackbuck in the past.
The Congress government was misleading the court in the Kancha Gachibowli land issue, saying there were no deer there. The Nehru Zoological Park, in its reports in the past, had mentioned that wild animals, including deer and peacocks, that were injured in the university lands were shifted to the Zoo park and provided treatment, he said.
Claiming that fake images and videos were created using AI and being shared extensively on social media, the Congress government was finding fault with eminent personalities from different sections.
“The Congress government is trying to divert attention from the core issue. We could also dub it Anumula Revanth Reddy Intelligence,” Rama Rao said.
Strangely, there was no coordination among Congress leaders over the issue. While one Congress MP announced that the University would be shifted to the Fourth City, TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud said there were no such plans, he added.
