Hyderabad: The recent Telugu action drama Bhairavam is set for its digital premiere on ZEE5 in both Telugu and Hindi on July 18. This film is a remake of the Tamil film Garudan, which starred Unni Mukundan, Soori, and Sasikumar and received good reviews for its intense storyline and strong performances.
Directed by Vijay Kanakamedala, Bhairavam features Bellamkonda Sreenivas, Nara Rohith and Manchu Manoj in the lead roles. The story is set in a rural village and revolves around three childhood friends: Gajapathi (Manchu Manoj), Varadha (Nara Rohith) and Seenu (Bellamkonda Sreenivas). Their peaceful lives take a dark turn when a powerful politician tries to grab the land of their village’s sacred temple, worth about Rs. 1,000 crore.
What begins as a simple story about friendship gradually turns into an action drama packed with betrayal, greed, loyalty and conflict. The film shows how the three friends handle the threat to their village and to their bond, and how they deal with the emotional consequences of their choices.
The cast also includes Aditi Shankar, Aanandhi, Divya Pillai, Jayasudha, Vennela Kishore, Ajay, Raja Ravindra, Sharath Lohitashwa and others in important roles. Their performances add depth to the story and highlight the tensions within the village.
