Three arrested for cannabis cultivation in Adilabad
Police in Adilabad arrested three persons on Monday for allegedly cultivating cannabis in two separate incidents. Jayabai Ankush and son Parameshwar had 10 plants at Gudihathnoor, while Sadam Sone Rao had 13 plants at Sirikonda, all seized during raids
Adilabad: In two separate incidents, police on Monday arrested three persons, including a father and his son, for allegedly cultivating cannabis in the district.
In the first case, Jayabai Ankush and his son Parameshwar of Gudihathnoor mandal centre were caught growing 10 cannabis plants on their farm. Police raided the premises following a tip-off.
In the second case, Sadam Sone Rao of Sirikonda mandal headquarters was arrested for cultivating 13 cannabis plants. The crop was seized during the raid.
