Three arrested for murder of 17-year-old youth in Hyderabad
Kalapathar police arrested three persons for the alleged murder of a 17-year-old youth at Biryanishah Tekri in Hyderabad. The accused were apprehended near Chandrayangutta, and police seized two knives, blood-stained clothes, an Activa scooter and three mobile phones.

Hyderabad: The Kalapathar police have arrested three persons for the alleged murder of a 17-year-old youth at Biryanishah Tekri reported last week.
The police identified the arrested persons as Mohammed Abrar, Mohammed Ismail alias Farhaan and Mohammed Ashfaq.
The victim, Faiz Mohammed alias Azaan (17), a resident of Biryanishah Tekri, was allegedly attacked in the early hours of July 19. Police said the incident occurred at around 2.30 am when the three suspects had gone to the locality in search of another person.
“When Faiz questioned their presence, two of the suspects allegedly attacked him with sharp-edged knives, while the third assaulted him with fist blows. He sustained multiple grievous injuries and died on the spot. The suspects fled on an Activa scooter,” said M A Jaweed, ACP, Falaknuma.
During the investigation, police examined eyewitnesses, collected forensic evidence, analysed technical clues and pursued multiple leads. Acting on specific information, the police team apprehended the three suspects near Chandrayangutta on Monday.
The police seized two blood-stained knives believed to have been used in the murder, blood-stained clothes, the Activa scooter allegedly used in the offence and three mobile phones.
