Three arrested for smoking ganja in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Prohibition and Excise Department (Charminar station) sleuths arrested three persons for possessing and consuming ganja at Vattepally in Falaknuma on Sunday.

The arrested persons are identified as Syed Abdul Mudassir Ali (23), Syed Ghouseuddin (29) and Mohammed Aslam (29). The officials seized 10 grams of ganja, a cigarette and three mobile phones from them.

The three persons were found possessing and consuming the contraband at Guntal Shah Baba Darga graveyard in Vattepally when they were caught, said Charminar P&E station Inspector Mohd Sadeq.

Efforts are on to nab one more person Syed Faizan of Tarnaka, who escaped from the place. The remaining three persons were produced before the court and remanded.
