Three arrested in Hyderabad for selling duplicate grocery items
Hyderabad police arrested three persons for allegedly selling duplicate grocery items sourced from Gujarat as genuine products. Tea powder, detergent powder and mosquito repellents were seized. The accused were supplying the items to traders in city markets

Hyderabad: The special team of the Detective Department of Hyderabad police on Tuesday caught three persons who were selling duplicate grocery items and cheating people. The police seized tea powder, detergent powder and mosquito repellents from them.
The arrested are Jaya Ram (33) of Begum Bazaar, Kachhawa Surendera (34) of Qutbullapur and Hanuman Ram (21), all natives of Rajasthan.
According to the police, the trio were bringing duplicate grocery items from dealers in Gujarat at a low price and selling them to local traders in Goshamahal, Afzalgunj and Begum Bazaar as genuine products.
On a tip-off, a special team under the supervision of D Bikshapathi conducted raids at multiple places and arrested the persons.
