In view of the lockdown, devotees were not allowed to attend the utsavs
Yadadri-Bhongir: The three-day Jayanthi Utsavs began at Sri Yadadari Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy temple (Balalayam) on Sunday.
The Jayanthi Utsavs began with the temple priests chanting swasthi vachans and performing Vishwak Sena pooja at Balalayam on the hill shrine. In view of the lockdown, devotees were not allowed to attend the utsavs.
The pooja programmes were performed under the supervision of main priest of the temple Nallathangal Narasimha Charyulu.
On the second day of Utsavs, Hanumath Vahana Seva would be taken out at the temple and Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy would appear in the attire of lord Sri Rama. On the last day, Purnahuthi and Sahastra Ghatbhisekham will be performed at the temple.
Similarly, a three-day Jayanthi Utsavs also began at the old temple of Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy temple located three km from Yadadri hill shrine. Temple executive officer N Geetha said that special pooja programmes would be conducted at Balalayam during the three days of Jayanthi Utsavs.
