Three from Maharashtra arrested for stealing generator, vehicle in Adilabad
Three persons from Maharashtra were arrested for allegedly stealing a generator, pickup vehicle and two mobile phones from a National Highway worksite on the Bela-Kobbayi road in Adilabad. Police recovered the stolen items, while another accused remains absconding.

Adilabad: Three persons from Maharashtra were arrested on charges of stealing a generator, a pickup vehicle and two mobile phones from a National Highway worksite on the Bela-Kobbayi road on July 31 night. Another accused person was still absconding. Police seized the generator, vehicle and mobile phones from the three.
Briefing the media on the arrests in Jainath, Adilabad DSP L Jeevan Reddy said that Vishal Rathod and Rahul Rathod, both from Chandrapur district, and Devathke Pawan of Nanded district were arrested, while Rathod Parameshwar of Chandrapur was still at large.
On being interrogated, the trio admitted to dismantling the generator and selling it to Pawan for Rs 90,000. The three were earlier detained while shifting the spare parts of the generator in the neighbouring State.
