Three gang clashes reported in Hyderabad within 24 hours
Three violent group clashes occurred in Hyderabad within 24 hours, leaving multiple people injured and one person allegedly kidnapped in Attapur. Police have registered several cases, and viral videos of the incidents have sparked concern among residents.
Hyderabad: Three group clashes were reported in different parts of the city within 24 hours and with those videos widely circulated on social media platforms, spread panic among the citizens.
In Bowenpally, two groups headed by Babuloo and Arman fought each other at a tea point in Bowenpally, and according to police, three persons suffered injuries in the clash. On information, the police reached the spot and shifted the injured persons to hospital. “Two cases have been registered after receiving complaints from the petitioners. Investigation is going on,” said Bowenpally Inspector, N Tirupathi Raju.
Meanwhile, the Falaknuma police registered two cases following a clash between two groups that erupted following an issue over construction of a building on Friday evening.
According to the police, one person, Md Asghar, a resident of Falaknuma, complained to his neighbour Moize, who is constructing a house, that building material such as plaster and bricks was falling into his house and leading to problems for the family.
“An argument ensued between Asghar and Moize, during which they attacked each other. Later, relatives of Moize attacked Asghar, following which he called his friends who again attacked Moize and his family relatives,” said Inspector Falaknuma, E Jangaiah. The police registered two cases and started an investigation.
In the third incident at Attapur, one person, Saddam, was allegedly kidnapped by a gang headed by Zaheer Iqbal and brutally assaulted at Chintalmet in Attapur police station area.
Zaheer Iqbal and Saddam have some issues between them, and the former, with the help of his associates, kidnapped Saddam and assaulted him. The local people who noticed the man being brutally beaten up informed the police, who reached the spot and shifted Saddam to hospital. The police later registered a case and started an investigation.
Attapur Inspector, K Nageshwar Rao, said they are investigating the case and also stated that a case was previously registered against Saddam at the police station for allegedly attacking some persons.
Two days ago, a pan shop owner was brutally thrashed by a gang at Attapur road, with the video of the pan shop owner being beaten up badly going viral on social media platforms.
