Three Gujarat men arrested in Kagaznagar for cyber fraud involving Rs 7 lakh
Three persons from Gujarat were arrested in Kumram Bheem Asifabad for cheating people through cyber frauds. They allegedly withdrew Rs 7 lakh from a victim’s bank account and were linked to similar cases in Tamil Nadu and other States, police said.

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Three persons from Gujarat were arrested for allegedly duping the public through cyber frauds.
Superintendent of Police Kantilal Patil said the arrested men, Kadavala Bhavesh Sida Bhai, Rathod Rahul Haja and Sahu Pradeep, all hail from Ahmedabad. They were caught by a special team formed after G Kiran of Kagaznagar lodged a complaint stating that Rs 7 lakh had been fraudulently withdrawn from his bank account.
During interrogation, the trio confessed to committing the offence to make quick money. They admitted to luring gullible people by promising huge returns if they deposited funds in specific accounts. They also said they approached victims under the pretext of hiring them to rate products and opened a bank account to carry out the fraud.
Police said the three were involved in three similar offences reported in Tamil Nadu and other States.
Kantilal praised Kagaznagar Inspector Prem Kumar, SI Prashanth, Cybercrime coordinator Ravinder and SI Tejaswini for their swift action in nabbing the accused.
