Three held for murder of construction worker in Miyapur
Three men from Karnataka arrested for killing construction worker Keshav Bangar over a liquor dispute in Hafeezpet, Miyapur

Hyderabad: The Miyapur police on Saturday arrested three persons who had killed a construction worker last week at Hafeezpet.
The arrested are Gande Sumith (23), Sunil Maddanikar (25) and Premsagar (24), all natives of Karnataka and staying in the city.
According to the police, the trio on January 3 met a construction worker Keshav Bangar (39), who was from Beed district of Maharashtra. After befriending him, the trio asked him to arrange liquor for them and following their request, Bangar mortgaged his mobile phone at a shop and took money.
Using the money, Sumith and the other two suspects purchased a bottle of liquor and all the four consumed it. Sumith assured to pay the money the next day and get Bangar’s mobile phone back.
“On January 4, Bangar noticed Sumith and Maddanikar were consuming liquor but failed to pay the money and get his mobile phone back. An argument ensued between Bangar and the three suspects over the issue. In a fit of rage, the suspects attacked Bangar resulting in injuries and subsequently he died,” said Miyapur Inspector, K Kranthi Kumar.
The police had registered a case and arrested the three suspects.
